WordPress Multisite allows creating a network of sites on a single WordPress installation. And if plugins are installed and running on the Multisite, then it’s important to know how to properly activate and update them.

1. Install a plugin in network admin as usual for multisite.

2. Do not network activate the plugin.

3. Open the dashboard of the particular website and go to the plugins page.

4. Activate the required plugin from here.
