In the last article, we learned about DocuSign and learned how to create an application in DocuSign as well as how to obtain several valuable keys from the Apps. Please read my DocuSign introduction post if you want to start from the beginning.
In this post, we’ll construct a new API project in.NET Core and retrieve a DocuSign authentication token.
Get Started:
Step 1: Create a new API project and add DocuSign API Controller.
Step 2: Add the NuGet package for DocuSign to your project.
DocuSign.eSign.dll
Step 3: Add the private.key file into your project.
- Right-click on your project and add a new item.
- Search for the text file and add private.key file.
- Go to your DocuSign Account and edit the created application.
- Click on the GENERATE RSA button and copy the private key.
- Copy-paste the private key into your private.key file.
Step 4: Add the necessary keys in the appsettings.json
